200 Veterans with 200 Students

Write a 400 word essay on the theme of Remembrance in Canada and have an opportunity to participate in 200 Veterans with 200 Students.  At a luncheon sponsored by the local chapter of the Veterans Memory Project, students have the opportunity to meet with veterans and learn first hand about their experiences.  To learn more visit https://www.veteransmemoriesproject.com/

Remembrance Day Contest

The Royal Canadian Legion is sponsoring a contest on remembrance with a Canadian theme.  There is a poster contest - both colour and black & white.  There is literary contest as well.  You may write an essay or poem in either English or French.  You can find complete information at the Legion website.  Locally, entries must be submitted by November 16th to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 255.  Stop by and see Ms. D'Angelo if you have questions in Rm 107.
