Visiting the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association Hanger

Today, FJB had the pleasure of visiting the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association Hanger.  Students were able to learn more about the role Canada and Canadians have played in conflicts around the world.
Retired members of the military shared their experiences and their knowledge with us.
We learned more about the importance of "In Flanders Fields".  Canada's role in World War II was stressed.  The role of the Salvation Army was shared,  and best of all, the planes.

We would like to thank the organizers and volunteers who ran today's event for all their hard work.  It was a wonderful opportunity to get out of the classroom and see Canada's history in action.
